Position

As our first dedicated product marketing hire, the Director of Product Marketing will play a pivotal role in defining how Ramona positions its products, communicates value to customers, and drives market leadership.

In this role, you will take ownership of positioning, messaging, product launches, and customer-facing content—while laying the foundation for a high-performing product marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Positioning and Messaging: Craft clear, compelling positioning for Ramona’s imaging systems and software. Ensure our value propositions resonate with customers in pharma, biotech, and academia.
  • Sales Enablement: Build high-impact commercial assets—decks, one-pagers, battle cards, demo scripts—that help Sales close deals and speak clearly to customer needs.
  • Customer and Market Insights: Conduct win/loss interviews, competitive analysis, and customer research to shape our messaging, roadmap, and content strategy.
  • Thought Leadership and Content: Collaborate with marketing to produce blog posts, webinars, and campaigns that position Ramona as a category-defining company.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment across messaging, strategy, and execution.

About You

We’re looking for a strategic, execution-minded product marketer with a passion for translating technical innovation into customer value. You bring deep experience in life sciences product marketing—and know how to turn complex technology into compelling stories that drive growth.

Qualifications:

  • Product Marketing Leadership: Demonstrated success owning positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for high-tech B2B or life sciences products.
  • Scientific and Technical Fluency: Comfortable marketing to scientists, researchers, and technical buyers; ability to quickly learn and communicate complex product capabilities.
  • Storytelling and Messaging Expertise: Skilled at crafting clear, differentiated narratives that resonate with multiple personas—from bench scientists to VPs of R&D.
  • Content and Launch Execution: Experience developing sales enablement tools, customer-facing content, and leading successful product launches end-to-end.
  • Strategic Thinking with a Builder’s Mindset: Thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments where you can shape process, build from scratch, and move quickly from insight to execution.
  • New Product Launch Experience: Background launching new products and supporting rapid sales growth is a strong plus, signaling readiness for scale and innovation.
